Run (don’t walk) over to Fuga Centro’s spa, salon and boutique on Michigan Avenue to ooh and ahh over current apparel and accessory lines shipped directly from Italy. This is a one stop shopping for that holiday/party outfit for women and custom-made suits from Tuscany, handmade shirts from Calabria and accessories for men. While you are there get your hair and nails done in this spacious salon overlooking Michigan Avenue and Millenium Park. Views from this second floor location are awe-inspiring. Salon/spa owners Kristen and Antonio Favaro (Milan experienced) have owned a salon on Southport for the past seven years.

"I truly enjoyed visiting Fuga overlooking Millennium Park. I work on my feet in the downtown area and this is the perfect place to spend my mid-day hours when I need my hair styled for an evening event. By joining the blow-dry club, I get discounted prices on the facials from my esthetician, Georgia. The entire team is very professional, the space is airy and bright and clean, and even the building is beautiful. It may be silly, but I think this environment contributes to my leaving feeling beautiful. I visited 7 salons and spas last year for Spa Index — and this is the perfect neighborhood salon and spa for me and my friends."

"You only have to go as far as Wrigleyville to feel like you've traveled worlds away. Over the last four years, co-owners Kristen and Antonio Favaro have been improving their Italian-inspired destination salon with classic spa amenities—an upstairs sanctuary with six treatment rooms, expert massage therapists, a marble steam shower and an espresso bar. Manicures and Pedicures treatments are nothing less than lovely–incorporating soothing organic scrubs and reflexology massage. It's clear they pay attention to details here."
